Paddle Plus

Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to browse, buy and receive their order in the Paddle Plus store, including people who use a keyboard, screen reader or zoom.

Standard

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA, the level referenced by the European standard EN 301 549 and the Estonian Accessibility Act for e-commerce services.

What we’ve done

  • The whole purchase path — registration, finding a product, cart, checkout and the order confirmation — works with a keyboard and has visible focus.
  • Forms have labels, explain errors in text and move focus to the first field that needs attention.
  • Text and controls meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio; the store palette was adjusted to achieve it.
  • Pages use headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link; menus and filters keep focus inside while open and close with Escape.
  • Animations are reduced when your device asks for less motion.
  • The store is available in Estonian, English and Russian.

How we check

Automated testing with axe-core against WCAG 2.1 A and AA on the key pages, plus manual keyboard testing of the purchase path. Last reviewed: 17 September 2026.

Known limitations

  • Payments are completed on the payment provider’s page, whose accessibility we don’t fully control.
  • Product photos uploaded without alt text fall back to the product name.
